Military Appreciation Night At Honda Center

Tonight at Honda Center the Anaheim Ducks will honor our Military Armed Forces. The pre-game festivities will feature members of the US Army rappelling from the rafters as part of the honorary puck drop. Anaheim Ducks players will be wearing camouflage jerseys during the pre-game warm-up for the annual Military Appreciation Night. Following the game, the jerseys will be autographed and available in an online auction at If the jerseys don’t appear on the website right after the game, then check back each day as sometimes there is a delay.

If you are attending the game, then non-perishable food items will be collected for Veterans First, an Orange County-based organization that provides services to our region’s homeless and at-risk veterans. Fans are encouraged to bring canned and non-perishable food items to the Community booths located at the Southwest and Northeast Entrances starting at 5:30 p.m.

In addition to Veterans First, Defending The Blue Line will also be participating. There mission is to ensure that children of military members are afforded every opportunity to participate in the game of hockey. They accomplish this by providing free hockey equipment and access to some of the finest summer hockey camps at no cost, and grants to help with local association fees.
