Today the focus of the majority of the Anaheim Ducks practice was the 3-on-3 overtime situations. The Ducks have played in overtime six times this season so far and the results haven’t faired well. The Ducks have lost four games during the 3-on-3 overtime. Twice they have gone to a shootout, splitting the outcome of those with a win and loss. Today’s emphasis comes as no surprise with the team’s difficulties in overtime.

Frederik Andersen was also at practice today and stayed out on the ice the longest. He stayed on the ice with goaltending consultant Dwayne Roloson getting in additional ice time. Andersen looked a little leaner today probably due to the fact he couldn’t keep any food down for a while. He hasn’t played since the November 21st loss to Tampa Bay, but looks close to being ready to go.

Jiri Sekac also practiced today in full contact and looked good. He is still listed on the Ducks injured reserve list still, but looks almost ready to play soon.
