During last night’s loss to the Carolina Hurricanes, Nate Thompson of the Anaheim Ducks checked Justin Faulk. The play resulted in Thompson making contact with Faulk’s head. Thompson received a five minute major penalty and a game misconduct ending his night. Thompson will have a hearing Monday, December 14th, by the NHL to determine if any further action will be taken. The Ducks lost the game 5-1. For recap analysis and video visit: Canes Drop Ducks
