Roster Move: Ducks Recall Max Friberg

By Michael Walters

The Anaheim Ducks have recalled Max Friberg from the San Diego Gulls. Friberg played in five games with the Ducks this season. He didn’t record any points and had two penalty minutes in those five games.

While in San Diego this season, Friberg has scored five goals and recorded 10 assists for a total of 15 points. He has played 20 games in San Diego with a +/- of -1 and two penalty minutes.

When Nick Ritchie was sent to San Diego, the Ducks had only 22 active players on their roster. The NHL allows for 23 total players(excluding those on IR), so Friberg was recalled to fill the final spot. There are no new injuries to report at this time.
