Per Elliotte Friedman of SportsNet, the Florida Panthers traded center Brandon Pirri to the Anaheim Ducks for a 6th round pick in 2016.

Pirri is on the injured reserve with an ankle injury per RotoWorld. He played 52 games with Florida this season, recording 11 goals and 13 assists for total 24 points. His +/- was -4 with 30 PIM.

He is a good pickup for the Ducks to add to their offensive depth. Bob Murray was able to add Pirri on a very cheap deal. Pirri can set up players and can score goals as well. He will also battle for the loose puck and help on the forecheck. He can play center and wing. The critique on him is he is an inconsistent scorer.
