Anaheim Ducks 37-21-9, 83 points, 2nd in the Pacific Division
The Anaheim Ducks went 0-2-1 this week. They lost to Washington in a shootout and lost to Colorado and St. Louis in regulation.
Win The Week?
The Ducks lost the week for the first time in a while. They were only able to earn one point out of a possible six. They slipped from first to second place in the Pacific Division.
Player of the Week
Fowler skated with the face shield for this week. It didn’t seem to affect him too much until the game against St. Louis. His passes were not on the mark and he made a costly turnover resulting in a Blues goal.
During the first period of the game against Colorado, Vatanen took an elbow to the head and didn’t return. He did not play in the game against St. Louis. Bieksa left the third period of the game yesterday and did not return. He is listed as day-to-day with a lower body injury. According to Boudreau he too may miss a few games this week.
Shawn Horcoff completed his 20 game suspension and was eligible to play yesterday against St. Louis, but was a healthy scratch.
March 7: Ducks lost to Washington in a shootout 2-1
Ryan Getzlaf scored in the first minute of the game to give Anaheim a 1-0 lead. Washington would score in the beginning of the third and the teams would remain tied at the end of regulation. They both battled until a shootout, where Washington won on the final shot attempt.

March 9: Ducks lose 3-0 to the Avalanche
Colorado built an early 1-0 and costly turnovers in the second period lead to a 3-0 lead. The Ducks couldn’t get one past Semyon Varlamov, getting shutout for the second time this year by Colorado.

March 11: Ducks get dropped by the Blues, 5-2
In the second period Ryan Getzlaf got the Ducks the lead first, but the Blues tied the game. In third period, Anaheim made three costly turnovers that resulted in three goals for the Blues. They ended up losing 5-2.
