I received a report that Chris Wagner is going to be recalled by the Anaheim Ducks. He has played in 11 games with Anaheim recording no points and a +/- of -2. He played in 26 games with the Colorado Avalanche this season scoring four goal and zero assists. He had a +/- of -2 while with the Avalanche.

Wagner was recalled on March 4 in case Ryan Getzlaf could not play against Los Angeles on March 5. Getzlaf was able to play in that contest and Wagner was promptly returned to San Diego. Wagner has 10 points(6G + 4A) in 15 games with the AHL Affiliate Gulls.

Injury Updates

According to Curtis Zupke of the Los Angeles Times, Andrew Cogliano appears to be okay after taking a hard check in Anaheim’s 8-3 barnburner against Calgary last night. Frederik Andersen came in to relieve John Gibson during the second period last night, but Andersen did not return to the game for the third period. He was not present on the bench for the third period. There is no official word of an injury.

There was no practice today and no update on Simon Despres‘ status. David Perron had an MRI this week on his right shoulder. An update should hopefully be provided later this week.
