Today the Anaheim Ducks General Manager Bob Murray provided injury updates.

Ryan Kesler: He was a little banged up and will be good to go for the series.

David Perron(Shoulder): He has been skating and shooting. He is probable for the series.

Brandon Pirri(Upper Body Injury): He has been riding the bike, but appears to be a little ways off from being ready. He has not been skating.

Rickard Rakell(appendicitis): He is probable to play at some point in the series.

Kevin Bieksa(Upper Body Injury): Skating and is probable for the series.

Clayton Stoner: He is being evaluated for an injury.

Sami Vatanen(Illness): He is fine and will play.

John Gibson(Lower Body Injury): He was run into a few times and was sent home from Colorado as a precaution.

It sounds like Bieksa and Pirri are the ones furthest out to return. It is likely that Perron and Rakell will return sooner. Kesler, Gibson, and Vatanen will be ready for Game 1.

Murray had this to say about all the injuries:

Additionally he gave credit to the team’s staff and the players for their work all year long.

Practice Update

After Murray’s announcements, all the above injured skaters hit the ice today at Honda Center except Clayton Stoner. Goalies were not on the ice and may have skated later. Here is a picture of the informal practice today.
