Theodore, Wagner, and Others Join The San Diego Gulls

After Anaheim’s heartbreaking loss last night to Nashville, the team announced today that Shea Theodore and Chris Wagner will be sent back to San Diego. The Gulls are playing game three tonight against the Texas Stars. The series is tied 1-1 and the game is at 7pm PT.

Wagner earned 10 total points(6G + 4A) in San Diego. He had a +1 rating and 22 PIM in 15 regular-season games with the Gulls. He played in 17 games with Anaheim this season and earned two assists. He had an even rating and 19 PIM. He played in the first two games against the Nashville Predators and didn’t record any points.

Theodore recorded 37 total points(9G + 28A) in San Diego. He had a -3 rating and 37 PIM in 50 games in San Diego. He played in 19 games earning 8 total points(3G +5A). He had a +7 rating and 2 PIM. He played in the first six games of the series against Nashville and didn’t record any points.

Additionally, the Gulls announced that Nick Sorensen and Marcus Pettersson are also going to join the team in San Diego. Defenseman Jacob Larsson has signed an amateur try out(ATO) with the Gulls. They were on loan to the Swedish Hockey League.
