After a NHL team has been eliminated from the playoffs, usually news of various injuries are revealed. Per Aftonbladet, a Swedish news website, Hampus Lindholm dealt with a rip injury during the series against Nashville. He sustained the injury in game four and had to take medication in order to deal with the pain. As a result of the injury Lindholm may not participate in the International Ice Hockey Federation(IIHF) World Championship in Russia next week.

Yesterday the Anaheim Ducks GM Murray announced that Boudreau would not be returning next season as the head coach. Today Murray will begin player exit interviews, at which time more injuries may become known throughout the weekend.
