It’s the eve before the NHL free agency frenzy begins and the Anaheim Ducks have several players that will become unrestricted free agents tomorrow at 9AM PT/12PM ET.

The list of forwards set to hit free agency include Shawn Horcoff, Jamie McGinn, David Perron, Brandon Pirri, Mike Santorelli, and Chris Stewart. The only defenseman to become a UFA tomorrow is Korbinian Holzer. It’s not likely that Anaheim brings many, if any, of these players back next season.

Eric Stephens of the OC Register confirmed that Horcoff, Santorelli, and Stewart will not be back. Additionally, the Ducks are not likely to bring back Pirri per a team source. Murray is interested in bringing back Perron and McGinn. Perron has received interest from several teams and seems unlikely to return. McGinn could stay in Anaheim, but he scored a career high 22 goals last year and could test the market tomorrow. It’s not clear if Anaheim will keep Holzer, but given the depth at the blue line it wouldn’t be surprising if he is gone as well.

Murray has sent qualifying offers to Hampus Lindholm, Rickard Rakell, and Stefan Noesen. Murray is adamant in keeping Lindholm and Rakell. Murray is prepared if another GM tries make an offer sheet for either player.

On the summer Christmas list for Murray is a backup goalie for John Gibson and a left-shooting left-wing. There are some goalie options out there, which include Mike Condon, Jhonas Enroth, Carter Hutton, Chad Johnson, and Al Montoya.

Some left-shooting wingers that will be available tomorrow include Mikkel Boedker, Loui Eriksson, Andrew Ladd, and Milan Lucic. I wrote about Eriksson, Ladd, and Lucic as potential targets for Anaheim yesterday. However, they all might be out of Anaheim’s price range since they continue to be a budget team.

One thing that’s for sure is change is coming to Anaheim and it begins tomorrow.
