Anaheim Signs Sideroff To Three-Year ELC

By Michael Walters

According to GeneralFanager.com, the Anaheim Ducks have signed Deven Sideroff to a three-year entry level contract. The contract is worth $717,500 NHL / $70,000 AHL per season.

Sideroff was drafted in the third round(84th overall) in the 2015 NHL draft. Last season he played in the WHL for the Kamloops Blazers. He played in 63 regular season games recording 59 total points(19G + 40A). His +/- was +4. In the playoffs, he played in seven games recording three assists with a +/- of +2. He also appeared in one game with the San Diego Gulls last season. He did not record a point in that contest.

Sideroff skates well and has quick hands. He is an offensive minded winger that can score when in a good position. He can also display patience and hold on to the puck in order to make a play for a linemate. He has good work ethic and determination.
