Pat, who battles multiple sclerosis, used to ride her tricycle for 14 years. She had it locked up right outside of her door when it was stolen from her. When she rode her bike, she could easily put in 10 miles each day running errands. She once rode it 6 miles to the Honda Center for a pep rally for her favorite sports team, the Anaheim Ducks. With the new tricycle, she will be able to run her errands and get around again.
Pat is a huge Ducks fan and has an entire room dedicated to the team that consists of flags, shirts, photos, and autographed memorabilia. Pat was provided with more Anaheim Ducks and DucksNPucks items to decorate her new tricycle today. In addition, several hundred dollars was raised above the cost of the tricycle and given to Pat as an extra gift.
Thank you to all the fans and friends that helped donated! It took less than 24 hours to raise the funds for the new tricycle!
Two Members of DucksNPucks Hired by Sports Organizations
This past week Richard Gonzalez was hired by the Anaheim Ducks Fan Development. Richard is an army veteran and has helped work on promoting DucksNPucks for the past few years. He is the second person from DucksNPucks to be hired by a professional sports organization. Former staff writer Alex Valle was hired earlier in the year by the Anaheim Angels and works in their team store.
