This week it was announced that Corey Perry will join fellow teammate Ryan Getzlaf in the World Cup of Hockey for Team Canada. The Anaheim Ducks currently have ten players competing in the tournament (Team Canada – Ryan Getzlaf and Perry, Team USA – Ryan Kesler, Team North America – John Gibson, Team Finland – Sami Vatanen, and Team Sweden – Hampus LindholmJakob Silfverberg, and Rickard Rakell).

On this show, we talk about the implications of having so many players participate in the tournament for the Anaheim Ducks. We address how Hampus Lindholm and Rickard Rakell playing could affect their contract negotiations.

Recently the Anaheim Ducks announced Jakob Silfverberg will be the Wild Wingers Kids Club captain. In the past, previous captains have been traded. We discuss whether Silfverberg can break the alleged curse and how we think he will perform this season.

Lastly, we analyze the Ducks chances next season with the current roster and we answer an interesting fan question about the fans.

Thanks for all the other fan questions as well, they help make the show!
