The Anaheim Ducks placed Clayton Stoner on the Long-Term Injury Reserve(LTIR) per CapFriendly.com. Stoner had abdominal surgery in December and was slated to be out 4-6 weeks, but now it appears it will be longer. Anaheim now has roughly $2.8 million in cap space as the trade deadline approaches.

On this week’s podcast, we explore some trade partners the Ducks could make deals with. Anaheim had struggled with scoring goals consistently in the recent weeks and trading a defenseman for a scoring forward seems like a likely option. We cover injury news and how it will affect potential trades for the Ducks might pursue. We also look at the rest of the road trip and discuss how the Ducks can generate more offense. Lastly, we share our thoughts on how far this Ducks team can go in the playoffs this season.
