The Anaheim Ducks(42-23-13) continue the road trip against the Calgary Flames(44-30-4). The Ducks are 2-1-0 against the Flames this season.
The Ducks are back in action again today after losing last night 3-2 to the Oilers in overtime. It looked like the Ducks would win the game, but a late questionable penalty call gave the Oilers a power play, which they converted on. Edmonton would go on to win in overtime. The Ducks are tied with the Oilers, but the Oilers are in the driver seat because they have more regulation and overtime wins(ROW). Clayton Stoner joined the team and might be in tonight after Sami Vatanen had to leave last night’s game after taking a puck up high near his shoulder.
Keys To The Game
Twice now on this road trip the third period did Anaheim in. The Ducks need to figure out how to play a complete and stay out of the penalty box. The Flames are red hot and the Ducks will need to try to slow down their offense if they want to prevail. The Ducks did score twice on the power play last night, which the Ducks will need more of in the final games of the season.
Anaheim Projected Lineup

The Flames have been on a roll for a while. They went 10-4-0 in the month of March and find themselves five points behind the Ducks and Oilers. They just clinched a playoff spot. Sean Monahan leads the team with 27 goals. Mikael Backlund has 21 goals and Johnny Gaudreau has 18.
Keys To The Game
Calgary does well on special teams. The Flames are 20.1% on the power play, which is tied for 10th in the league. They are also 81.5% efficient on the penalty kill which is 11th in the league. They do win less than half of their face-offs, which they will need to be better at against Anaheim tonight if they want two points.
Calgary Projected Lineup
Chad Johnson (Unconfirmed)
