After the Anaheim Ducks won Game 2 over Nashville by a score of 5-3, Ryan Johansen wasn’t happy with Ryan Kesler. Johansen had this to say after the game:

“I mean, it just blows my mind watching. I don’t know what’s going through his head over there. Like, his family and his friends watching him play, I don’t know how you can cheer for a guy like that. It just doesn’t make sense how he plays the game,” Johansen said. “I’m just trying to go out there and play hockey, and it sucks when you’ve got to pull a stick out of your groin every shift.”

“I play the game hard, and obviously he doesn’t like that,” Kesler said in a television interview in response after the game.

Apparently someone at Wikipedia has decided to chime in on this situation. If you look up Ryan Johansen on Wikipedia, then you will see some interesting edits to his bio.

In the beginning, it says that “his daddy is Ryan Kesler”.

Later on “personal life” it says his ‘hobbies include pulling sticks out of his groin and whining to the media.”

Although humorous to some, it will be interesting to see how long these comments are up and also if someone at Wikipedia gets flack for it.

There have been a few variations of these comments and if any are still up, then they are posted here: Ryan Johansen Wikipedia.
