Anaheim Outlook

The Ducks just completed their two games against the Wild dropping both games. Anaheim lost the first game 3-1 and the second one 5-1 against Minnesota. The Ducks are currently on a three game losing streak and sit in last place in the West Division. The Ducks are 1-1-0 against the Coyotes this season.

Poor starts, inconsistent play, and scoring have been issues for the Ducks this season. The Ducks average 1.83 goals a game, which ranks last in the league. They give up 2.72 against per game, which is 14th best in the NHL. The power play is only 7.5% efficient, which ranks 30th in the NHL. The penalty kill is ranked 7th in the league at 85.4%.

Max Comtois leads the team in scoring with seven goals.

Team News:

The Ducks also reassigned Vinni Lettieri, and Anthony Stolarz to the taxi squad. Josh Mahura was also reassigned to the taxi squad yesterday, but he was added back to the roster today.

Chase De Leo, Lukas Dostal, and Jacob Perreault were reassigned to the San Diego Gulls.

Injury Updates

Hampus Lindholm(lower-body) injury will travel with the team to Arizona.

Josh Manson(oblique) is still on the IR and has some time to go before returning.

Milano practiced with the Ducks yesterday, but he is still listed on the IR. He was on a conditioning loan with the Gulls.

Arizona Outlook

The Coyotes are 7-7-3 and are tied for fourth place in the West Division with the Los Angeles Kings. Arizona just played LA twice and lost both games. The first contest went to a shootout with the Kings winning 3-2. LA then doubled up Arizona 4-2 in the second matchup.

The Coyotes average 2.53 per game, which ranks 24th in the league. They give up 2.76 goals against per game, which is 15th in the NHL. Their power play is ranked 15th at 20.6% efficiency. The penalty is 84.5% efficient, which is 8th in the NHL.
