At today’s practice the Ducks players went at each other and kept a good physical presence and pace to the work out. The team knows the size advantage has worked to their favor in Game 1 and need to continue to use it for the rest of this series. Ryan Kesler was the only Ducks player not on ice today. There are no new injuries to report.

As far as the line-up goes for the Ducks it appears like there will be no changes from Game 1. Bruce Boudreau was very happy with the Sekac-Rakell-Etem line in yesterday’s game. Boudreau also had high praise for Simon Despres‘ play. Again it appears like the defensive core will remain the same for Game 2. Difficult to argue with a 9-1 record in the postseason.

As for the Blackhawks it appears like David Rundblad will be benched for Game 2. He made some critical errors in Game 1 especially on the Kyle Palmieri goal. It appears that Kyle Cumiskey will draw in for Chicago in Game 2. He has appeared in 7 games this year with no points and a +/- of -1.

Watch Party Info (There may be two of them!)

For the Western Conference Final there will be a watch party for Game 3 at the Honda Center. The rules are the same as before, please read them below.

Details about the watch party:

1. Parking is free at the Honda Center.
2. Seating is first come, first serve. Also you may want to bring lawn chairs to sit in the parking lot.
3. You may bring food and NON-alcoholics beverages ONLY. There will be adult beverages for sale at Honda Center.
4. There will also be giveaways at event as well!

If the series goes to a Game 6, then will be a watch party at Honda Center on Wednesday May 27th.

Also we have our series preview for the Western Conference Final here: Ducks vs Hawks. Many doubt the Ducks, but as I explain in the article the Ducks have a great deal going for them.
