Anaheim Outlook

The Anaheim Ducks are coming off a 6-1 loss to Edmonton Oilers. There wasn’t much that went right for Anaheim as they got behind 3-0 in the first period and couldn’t recover. Zach Aston-Reese scored his first goal as a Duck. Troy Terry did not play due to the injuries his sustained in Friday night’s win over Arizona.

Anaheim is currently 6th in the Pacific Division and 12th in the Western Conference. The Ducks are 21.9% efficient on the power play, which ranks 12th in the league. Their penalty kill is 80.4% efficient, which ranks 13th in the NHL.

Troy Terry leads the team in scoring with 31 goals.

Ryan Getzlaf announced his retirement yesterday. His last game will be April 24th at Honda Center.

Injury/Illness News:

Troy Terry did skate at practice yesterday and will play tonight.

Jakob Silfverberg (lower-body) remains on the IR. Silfverberg has a blood clot in his leg and is expected to be out a few weeks. It doesn’t appear to be serious thankfully.

Max Jones has been skating, but it looks like he might not return this season. A final decision is supposed to be made in a few days.

Ryan Getzlaf has been in and out of the lineup with a lower-body injury.
